    205 with Allison Adapter

I believe this transfer case has the 50-9422 Advance Adapter installed, or it is at least similar. The kit includes an input with the 40 tooth speed sensor tone ring. This transfer case was built by Moonshine Mafia Motorsports for a customer, found on ebay. He recommended them. They also build a 205 adapter that will work with the “figure 8” 205.

The moonshine mafia adapter is an Advance adapters unit. Moonshine mafia are very helpful and do an excellant product. I personally made my own adapter from billet to reduce the attachment length to as short as possible it also has a 40 tooth factory 2wd Allison vss machined to press fit over 29 spline spud adapter. Fitted /modified an clocking ring to allow orientation.lomax to Allison adapter

To those that are using the 205s, how much clearance do you have between the drive shaft and the transmission? Do you have a lift kit?

What are you guys doing for the VSS if you dont use the tone ring on the 205 input? You can bolt a 205 right to an allison if you have the 29 spline input gear or the adapter sleeve that AA sells.

As far as I know everyone has put the tone ring on the spud shaft and most of the adapters have provision for the sensor there. If you had a sensor on the tail shaft of the T-Case that would work with my speed signal modifier option.
