About a month ago my truck started shifting down and back up while crushing on the flat and level. Keeps changing gears for no reason also goes in and out of overdrive and torque lock. Does it at about any speed. Usually comes out of it after about 5 to 10 min. It is getting worse pulled horse trailer yesterday and couldn’t get it to stop switching gears for no reason.
Any ideas?Got home pulling the horse trailer and it shifted just fine.
Before I left the camp, I cleaned the crank speed sensor with a towel, I also removed the 5 amp fuse to the PCS 2000 to see if it was ok, it was fine so I put it back in. I also checked the transmission sensor connections to make sure they were plugged in all the way and they were, I did not unplug any of them, I had a limited amount of tools so that is all I did and it worked fine on the 3 hour trip home.
