    OEM commercial truck adapters were used to adapt the commercial 7.3L T444E International engines to Allisons in medium duty trucks. These engines were very similar to the 7.3 Powerstroke, and the adapter interchanges as far as I know.  Be aware that International used both SAE 2 and SAE 3 – the engine and trans adapters must match.  The advantage these adapters have is they are factory designed components and the transmission cooler connections are on the bottom of the bellhousing, rather than on the passenger side where space is limited already with your exhaust.

    If you get a Chevy Allison, the bellhousing can be changed to the SAE 3 version.

    The T444E SAE2 flywheel housings are:
    1821697C1 (this one might need modification to be able to access the flex plate bolts)
    1821697C2
    1821697C3

    To use with Allison SAE3 bell-housings a SAE2->SAE3 reducer+spacer ring is needed:
    480861C1
    3585126C1 (maybe)

    The T444E flywheel housings need this spacer ring. You can’t just mate an SAE2 Allison bellhousing straight to the SAE2 T444E Flywheel housing without a spacer. To my knowledge there isn’t a SAE3 T444E flywheel housing.

    Crank spacer/counterweight:
    182587C1

    Flex Plate:
    1833796C91 (kit)

    TC to flex plate spacer:
    1827180C3 (kit)
