Does the Allison 1000, use the same sensor for the ISS, OSS, and Turbine? I know they have to be in the correct location, but I need to replace the Turbine and the OSS, and need to know if they use the same sensor for each.

The speed sensors that go in the bellhousing (input speed) and over the PTO cover (turbine speed) are the same from ’01-’14, 1000-2550 series. These would be used even in a ’15 and newer transmission with the Allison control systems I build and support. 2wd transmissions also use the same sensor in the extension housing for the output shaft speed sensor. GM transfer cases use a different, threaded sensor for the output shaft speed signal – and this sensor has often been added into the GM 4×4 extension housing.

Thanks, this is a 2WD and the turbine and output sensors were broken when I purchased the unit.
