Status change of current control system

It is now time to announce that I am entering a “sunset” phase to legacy support with the control system that I am currently using, because I expect sometime between April to July of 2025 I will no longer have any new old stock TCMs to sell. The TCMs are quite dependable, but I am setting aside 30 to honor warranties or to replace current customer’s tcms into the years ahead.  IF you are a person who purchased an Allison system from me in the past and you are not registered on my forums, now is a good time to do so.

I am working on using my own aftermarket controller that I have used to run Allison sled pulling trucks and the 68RFE for years, but it is not ready to sell to the masses yet. I’m announcing this because there is a possibility that you could start a project and not be able to finish it. There are some used TCMs out there and possibly some new old stock from other vendors (don’t go buying one without checking in with me first) that could possibly be used but that may be a hassle you don’t want to deal with.

Will the new system be plug n play with the old system?

How long do you think before the new system is available?

Can I buy a spare TCM from you now for backup?

Unfortunately the header, the wire harness connection on the new controller had to be different, so it will not be a plug and play change.
