Registration and Login
At some point I may require the use of two factor authentication for security measures, it won’t cost you anything but a few extra minutes of your time. There will be those out there in internet land that will be trying to hack your account to spam my site – for now thank you for doing your part by using a strong password. If I think your account has been hacked, you agree I have the right to lock it down and remove any questionable content connected to your account.
Public Profile Directories
Some user role profiles are shown in public directories, for example, those who are DIY or Harness Kit customers. These customers agree to have their profile shown and also agree that they cannot delete their account. This discourages people from building a harness and claiming it was built by Transmission Tuner. Other role profiles will not have public directories created. If you are not a DIY or Harness Kit customer you may request your account to be deleted by emailing Jason.
Use of the Site
The transmissiontuner.com/blog website hosts a blog and a public forum, both of which are equipped with commenting facilities. While I invite you to share your opinions and questions in this way, they must not be used to distribute spam messages, post commercial advertisements, or spread links to malicious or dangerous websites. Furthermore any picture or typical foul word that moderators deem inappropriate will be removed with no prior notice or permission needed from you. I will moderate pictures and language tighter than most forums out there. For example, but not in any way limited to – pictures of your friend, spouse, or wanna be significant other of any kind falls into the inappropriate category and will be removed or replaced – and if you do this twice you will be blocked. Pictures of your vehicle, or customized parts of your vehicle are welcome and appreciated by all.
Do not try to clean up your language by substituting letters with symbols- for example instead of saying its a piece of s***, just say it’s a piece of junk or a piece of poop if you have to please.
Please treat everyone with respect, even my competitors.
Please keep media on the subject this site is designed for – transmission tuning and vehicles that are benefited from that.
Administrators, and moderators retain the right to moderate any comment or written content submitted to the transmissiontuner.com/blog website and to remove any content we deem to have violated our policies.
